Demolition and site work for a recreation facility in Middle Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the demolition of a recreation facility; and for site work for a recreation facility.

If you are an interested contractor and wish to be listed as a bidder, please notify our editorial staff at addtobidlist@constructconnect.com. 1. Demolition: a. Complete demolition and removal of all structures, contents, foundations, piping, mechanical and electrical equipment, furnace, split rail fencing and underground utilities (water, wastewater, electrical, etc.). b. Complete demolition and removal of all above and below ground structures; including, but not limited to trees/stumps, concrete slabs and curbs, and landscaping. c. Trees, if any, to remain will be clearly marked as such. All trees and their stumps are to be removed-extracted from the soil, NOT ground/shredded in place, holes filled with topsoil, graded level, and grass seeded. d. All material, equipment, rubble, debris, and other products of the demolition shall become the property of the Contractor for their disposal off-site in accordance with all applicable laws and ordinances. Any sale of salvageable materials by the Contractor shall only be conducted off-site. e. The Contractor is responsible for determining the extent of the work required and to verify the accuracy of the property/demolition site. f. The Contractor shall fill and compact all voids left by the removal of trees, stumps, pipes, structures, etc.with clean material and a grade consistentwith the surrounding area. g. Access to the site is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. seven days a week. Contractor is responsible for complying with an existing local noise/disturbance regulation(s). h. Any hazardous materials encountered during demolition must be disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations at the appropriate facility. Notify the Director of Park immediately or as soon as practicable thereafter if hazardous material(s) are found. No asbestos is suspected. 2. Site Clearing: a. All trees and their stumps are to be removed-extracted from the soil, NOT ground/shredded in place, voids filled with topsoil, graded level and local variety perennial grass seeded. b. Landscaping removal - all landscaping on the properties is to be removed. c. Fencing removal - all fencing on the properties is to be removed. d. Concrete Flooring in building must be removed. e. Voids must be compacted, filled, and graded level with a minimum of 2 inches thick topsoil applied to the disturbed areas, and seeded with a local variety perennial grass. f. Final grade must be approved by the Director of Park. g. The County will not provide dumpsters for material removal. 3. Pollution Control: a. Contractor will surround the work area with a temporary fence to prevent unwanted intrusion. Atthe end of the workday the contractor will ensure the equipment access location of the temporary fence is closed. b. Any and all equipment, trucks, dumpsters, material, and incidentals to be used to complete the work will be in good working order without leaks and shall be removed promptly after the completion of the work. c. Alltransport of debris must be fully enclosed/covered from point of origin to disposal facility. d. For dust mitigation, the Contractor must use water and other suitable methods as necessary to limit the amount of air pollution emitted as practical for the conditions of work. e. After demolition, the Director of the Park will determine if adjacent structures require the Contractor to provide cleaning to remove dust and debris caused by demolition operations prior to final acceptance.
