Site work for a water / sewer project in Mound, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Interceptor Rehabilitation The project includes two sites located in the cities of Mound and Spring Park. Site 1 is the gravity pipe rehabilitation along Shoreline Drive and Auditors Road which includes rehabilitation of about 400 ft of 24-inch gravity pipe and four (4) manhole structures using open cut method. Site 2 is the forcemain rehabilitation along Shoreline Drive between West Arm Road and Chateau Lane. The project includes pipe bursting of approximately 2,000 ft of 10-inch forcemain pipe, and replacement of about 40 feet of 12-inch gravity pipe, including the structure along the project site. This site also includes directional drilling of 12-inch dual FM under Seton Chanel. Both sites include temporary conveyance of pipe and traffic control, along with restoration and other items required to complete the work. Site 1 is located in a known superfund site area and will need contaminant management if encountered during the project. Site 2 is located in a known archeological and culturally significant area and will need tribal monitoring during construction. The MCUB participation goal for this contract is 12%.
