The Project consists of furnishing and installing C900 PVC pipe, ductile iron fittings, gate valves, fire hydrant assemblies, thrust blocks, connection restraints, surface restoration, traffic control, and appurtenances. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis Questions other than ordering documents should be directed to Josh Lambeth, E.I. Bidding Documents also may be examined at the office of the City of Trenton, 1100 Main Street, Trenton, MO, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.; and the office of the Engineer, Howe Company, LLC 804 E. Patton Street, Macon, MO, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Upon request and receipt of the document fee indicated above plus a non-refundable shipping charge, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Bid Documents can also be obtained in PDF form Online. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office and Online. Bidders must obtain their bid documents from Howe Company, LLC or Online and be on the plan holders list to bid the project. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
