Site work for a mixed-use development in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a parking garage.
Des Moines International Airport Parking Garage Maintenance 2024 Contract No. 2023-36-20 The Work generally consists of: 1. Concrete Restoration 2. Sealant Replacement 3. Traffic Topping Waterproofing Membrane Installation 4. Floor Drain Replacement 5. Drainpipe Replacement 6. Traffic Control (blocking parking stalls at work area and level below) Commencement of Work. Work on the improvements shall be commenced any time after a written Notice to Proceed is issued and shall be completed as stated below. The Notice to Proceed will be issued after the preconstruction conference, which is expected to occur in April, 2024. Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds. Each successful Bidder will be required to furnish corporate Surety Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of its Contract price The Engineer's opinion of probable construction cost for the Work is between $175,000 and $215,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Des Moines Airport Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract, or contracts, as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the Authority.
