Minot State University Student Union 1st Floor Remodel Minot, ND All bids rejected Bids shall be prepared in compliance with the Instruction to Bidders and shall be bid as General Contract (all trades) OR Multiple Contract consisting of the following Prime Contracts: General Building Construction; Mechanical Construction; or Electrical Construction. Bids not fully complying with the requirements of North Dakota Century Code Chapter 48-01.2 will not be read or considered. Any deficient bid will be resealed and returned to the Bidder immediately. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing the Bidder s Contractor s license and bid security. The Bidder must be licensed for the full amount of the bid. Bid security in the form of a bidder s bond shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after opening of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Project Description: Project consists of interior remodeling on the first floor of the Student Union building, encompassing roughly 4,800 square feet of area. Remodel work will include limited demolition, new exterior windows, new interior walls, acoustical ceilings, floor/wall/ceiling finishes, casework, and HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work. Project Location: 500 University Ave West, Minot, ND 58707 All Prime contractors must contact Ackerman-Estvold through Sonya Boykin (sonya.boykin@ackerman-estvold.com) to be added to the Plan Holders list and to receive the links to the Bid Opening and Prebid Meeting video conferences. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Substantial Completion is required by August 1, 2024. Work is subject to liquidated damages. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
