Site work and paving for a civil project in Somersworth, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The Project consists of utility replacement, storm water upgrades, and roadway reconstruction. A bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder's maximum bid price and in the form of a certified check or Bid bond issued by surety meeting the requirements of the General Conditions. No bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after receipt of bids unless released by the Owner. The City of Somersworth reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any Bid that it may deem to be in the best interests of the City of Somersworth. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Disinfection of water mains and appurtenances d. Removal and disposal or abandonment of existing water main, valves and services. e. Temporary water service system and laterals 4. Roadway and Sidewalk Reconstruction: a. Full depth reconstruction b. Curbing installation c. Driveway aprons d. Construction of concrete sidewalks including tip down and detectable warning devices e. Signage and striping 5. Streetscape Improvements: a. Street lighting b. Benches and trash receptacles c. Plantings 6. Testing of sanitary sewers, water mains, valves and manholes for proper installation and performance. 7. All related site work including trench excavation, ledge excavation, groundwater dewatering, disposal of excess excavated materials, filter fabric, bedding, backfill, compaction, road/drive subbase, paving, sidewalks, loam/seed and landscaping. 8.
