The bidder shall provide the original (unbound) proposal and one (1) original hard copy. Fax or electronic submission of proposals will not be allowed. The City will award any resulting contract in a manner consistent with the City Purchasing Ordinance. The cut-off date and time for receiving questions regarding this bid is 5:00 pm PST, on Friday, January 19, 2024. All inquiries must be made in writing and may be submitted to the email address Michelle Kempley, Purchasing Officer mkempley@cityofredding.org. The City of Redding is currently accepting sealed bids for one (1) new, ADA Compliant Passenger Boarding Ramp, on behalf of the Redding Regional Airport. The successful bidder shall be responsible to provide all material, labor, tools, on-site delivery and setup, training of personnel, transportation services, warranty, and all incidental items necessary for the equipment. 1. Scope and Intent It is the intent of this bid to select a single qualified vendor to provide all material, labor, tools, transportation services, on-site delivery and setup, training of Redding Regional Airport personnel, warranty, and all incidental items necessary to provide the scope of work entitled ADA Compliant Passenger Boarding Ramp per the specifications provided herein as Attachment B, subject to the terms and conditions contained in this Invitation to Bid. Contract Period and Liquidated Damages The bidder shall state a realistic delivery date on the Bid Form. Delivery time indicated on the Bid Form shall be a consideration in the bid evaluation process. A. The number of days for delivery proposed and agreed upon shall be included in the contract. B. Bidder must agree to full complete the contract within the number of calendar days noted in the agreement form and agrees to pay as liquidated damages an amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each calendar day thereafter the contract is not complete.
