This is an Industry Day/Request for Information (RFI) notice. The intent of this notice is received industry comment on a stilling basin repair project, using the Eufaula Lake project as a sample. This notice is being issued for planning and information purposes only. This notice is not a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice, nor will the Government accept proposals as a result of this notice. Project Description: The work included, but not limited to, repairing concrete deficiencies within the Eufaula Dam stilling basin. Repairs to concrete will not require the removal of riprap, coarse aggregate, silt, debris, and other foreign material deposited within the stilling basin other than resulting from repairs. It's expected that all work would be accomplished under water. Construct and maintain upland temporary access/haul roads to perform work in accordance with work requirements. Fill in the channel or stilling basins won't be allowed. Relocate all riprap, coarse aggregate, silt, debris, and other foreign material deposited within the areas of stilling basin repairs. Repair deficient concrete areas as identified within the plans and specifications. Restore constructed and damaged access/haul roads used in performance of this project. Estimated duration of the construction phase of this project is 200 calendar days. Instructions: Response to this RFI/Industry Day is voluntary. Please include any additional questions and/or suggestions to the plans and specifications that your firm may have. For those firms that submit an 'Industry RFI-Questions for Stilling Basins', a one-on-one meeting with the Government Design Team may/can be scheduled in order to explain the firm's reasoning/rationale to the questions and their responses. Responders shall also include the organization name and point of contact. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Specific information pertaining to any future procurement will be available within a solicitation and will be posted on the SAM.gov website.
