Renovation of a museum in Mahwah, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
Scope of Work: Installation of Prefabricated Pavilion with Patch and Repair of the Caboose Exterior, including but not limited to exterior siding, windows, and paint to match existing caboose. A Pre-bid conference will be held at the site, 142 N. Railroad Ave, Mahwah, NJ 07430 The Township of Mahwah reserves the right to waive technical deficiencies and to reject any and all bids if such rejection shall be found to be in the best interest of the Township, and to waive non-material informalities in any bid in such a manner as shall be deemed, in the judgment of the Township of Mahwah, to be in the best interest of the Township, all in conformity with the law. A bid guaranty shall accompany the bid proposal and shall be given in the amount of 10% of the base bid, but not in excess of $20,000 unless otherwise required by law or regulation of the United States, and may be given at the option of the bidder by cash, certified check, cashier's check or a bid bond from a reputable insurance company authorized to do business in New Jersey. Bids may be held by the Township of Mahwah for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding of the contract, unless said period is extended by mutual consent.
