Saving Project...

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Barrie, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and water / sewer project.

Design and reinstallation of third pump at the Codrington BPS and removal of the pressure reducing valve to mitigate water supply issues in Pressure Zone 2N. The Codrington BPS supplies water from Pressure Zone 1 to Pressure Zone 2 North (2N). With growth pressures and existing operational issues limiting reliable water supply availability into 2N, it is important that the City develop additional reliable supply capacity for 2N. TIMELINE: Funding has been allocated in the 2024 Capital Plan. A Request For Proposals is anticipated in 2024/2025. Further design, tender and construction timing is undetermined.
