Arts District Streetscape Project 2. North-South Connector Project (BL-0102) 3. Projects Description The City of Greenville, NC is requesting qualifications from engineering firms interested in providing the services required to perform engineering design, prepare construction documents, provide easement acquisition services, and perform construction engineering and inspection and materials testing for the following three projects. North-South Connector Construct a multi-use path (MUP) from Town Commons to Mumford Road along the existing street network. Lack of multimodal facilities and road configurations has caused north side communities to be disconnected from the rest of the City's multimodal network. This project will provide the first such connection across the Tar River, proposing to utilize the outside lane of N. Greene Street to provide a separated, two-way MUP, while continuing to utilize the existing sidewalk as well. A Traffic Impact Analysis will be required. This project includes federal funds.
