This Request for Proposal (RFP) has been developed to solicit proposals from qualified respondents to provide network switches, modules, adapters, required licensing, and installation to upgrade eleven of the existing networking closets and its components of the Blue Ridge School District LAN. Based upon responses, the Blue Ridge School District at its sole discretion will determine in which manner it will award the aforementioned business. The upgrades are contingent upon BRSD receiving Category 2 E-Rate funding for internal connections in the 2024 year. If E-Rate funding for Category 2 internal connections is not granted, the project will not proceed, and all proposals will be denied. The purchase will take place after the District receives the award information concerning E-Rate and at the start of the new budget calendar on or after July 1, 2024. The district requires the Service Provider to have a valid and current SPIN (Service Provider Identification Number) as issued by USAC. The SPIN must be established at the time of the proposal. No grey market, third party, or used equipment will be considered. We ask that the vendor be an awarded partner of the manufacturer listed in this RFP. The major factors, though not exclusive, to be used in the selection for an anticipated purchase of materials: Demonstrated capability in providing reliable, quality products and client support. Each respondent must provide three references from current customers. Net pricing and overall economic advantages Technical capabilities, including installation, monitoring, and maintenance Flexibility in contract terms and conditions Responsiveness to the RFP, including proposal construction and clarity No late arrivals will be accepted as sufficient time is permitted for response preparation. There will be no exceptions permitted. All terms and conditions, including price, submitted by each Respondent will be valid for a period of not fewer than 180 days following the date of submission of their proposal. Respondents are required to state this guarantee or better in their proposal.
