Gwinnett County is soliciting competitive informal written Quotes from qualified service providers for the Provision of Security Alarm Systems and Fire Alarm Systems Monitoring, Maintenance, Repair, Remote Access, and Installation on an Annual Contract with Four (4) Renewal Options for the Department of Community Services. Successful contractor will be required to meet insurance requirements. The Insurance Company should be authorized to do business in Georgia by the Georgia Insurance Department, and must have an A.M. Best rating of A-5 or higher. Award will be made to the service provider submitting the lowest responsive and responsible quote. Gwinnett County reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, to waive technicalities, and to make an award deemed in its best interest. Quotes may be split or awarded in entirety. Gwinnett County reserves the option to negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with the lowest responsive, responsible bidder(s) at its discretion. Quotes are legal and binding upon the bidder when submitted. Ineligible Source List During the period for which a person/firm has been debarred or suspended, or placed on the Gwinnett County ineligible source list, that person/firm shall not submit or cause to be submitted offers, quotes, bids, or proposals, etc. to Gwinnett County, even when automatically or online distributed a notification or notified of a solicitation request. Submittals from firms currently on the Gwinnett County ineligible source list will not be considered. A five percent (5%) bid bond, a one hundred percent (100%) performance bond, and a one hundred percent (100%) payment bond must be furnished to Gwinnett County for any solicitation as required in the solicitation package or document. The bid bond, payment bond, and performance bond must have the proper A.M. Best rating as stated in the solicitation document.
