Davidson County is seeking a qualified design build firm to provide design/build services (including but not limited to; architectural/engineering, programming, schematic, design development, bidding, planning, preparation, construction administration and construction phased services) for a proposed new hangar(s) to be located at 1673 Aviation Way, Lexington, NC 27292. Services may include surveying, design, environmental permitting, permitting, consultation, meetings & presentations, and construction related services. The purpose of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to generally describe the work desired by the County and to invite qualified persons or firms to submit written descriptions of their design build team's qualifications and proposed approach for providing that work. Responses to this request shall be submitted in accordance with the procedures outlined herein. In addition, this RFQ is being issued based on 143-128.1A and 64-31, design-build contracts, as reprinted below for your review. From the proposals received, Davidson County will conduct a competitive QUALIFICATIONS BASED SELECTION process to identify the best-qualified design/build team with which to negotiate a contract. A.
