Site work for a civil project in Sharpsburg, Kentucky. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Sharpsburg Water District is applying for federal funding for the Sharpsburg Water District Reynoldsville Tank and Whetstone Tank Rehab Project. Engineering services may include, but are not limited to: feasibility study, preliminary engineering/architectural report, cost estimate preparation, planning, design, construction administration, inspection, other required engineering services, and administration. All engineers interested in being considered for this project must submit a proposal detailing qualifications, technical expertise, management and staff capabilities, and related prior experience related to water distribution, water transmission, water storage, sewer collection, sewer interceptors, and/or water and sewer treatment. As of October 28, 2025, per owner, an engineer has been identified. A general contractor has not yet been selected, estimated bid date is March 20, 2026. Estimated construction start date is April 1, 2026.
