Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Anaheim, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

**As of February 23, 2024, This project has been awarded to R.J. Noble Company, with the awarded amount of $1,384,243.82.** East Street Rehabilitation from Cypress Street to La Palma Avenue The work to be performed under this contract generally consists of rehabilitating the roadway by removing the asphalt concrete pavement and reconstructing it with a Forta-Fi asphalt surface course, removal of AC berm and constructing new 8" curb & gutter, removal and reconstruction of cross gutters & spandrels, ADA access ramps, sidewalk, driveways, adjustment of manholes and valve covers, the replacement of traffic striping, traffic loops, and pavement markings, and all appurtenant work as shown on the plans and specifications. Other Details For the purposes of bid evaluations and fairness to all bidders, the City will evaluate the Total Base Bid Proposal. The lowest responsive responsible Base Bid bidder will be selected. Work under the Alternative Bid (if any) may be authorized, if it is determined at the sole discretion of the City, that work under the Alternative Bid is within the City's available budget. All bidders shall further understand that the City reserves the right to reject all bids. All Bids shall be in accordance with the "Invitation to Bidders" and "Instructions to Bidders". DETAILED INFORMATION: Detailed information concerning distribution and control and bid documents, preparation of bids and award of contracts is provided in the Instructions to Bidders. B. COMMUNITY WORKFORCE AGREEMENT (CWA) The City has entered into a Community Workforce Agreement (CWA) with the Los Angeles/Orange Counties Building and Construction Trades Council and the Signatory Craft Councils and Local Unions. The CWA is a pre-hire collective bargaining agreement that establishes labor relations procedures. This project is covered "Project Work" as defined in the CWA. Therefore, the awarded Contractor and its subcontractors of all tiers shall agree to be party to and bound by the CWA by signing a Letter of Assent (a form attached to the CWA as Attachment A). The CWA is incorporated by reference in the Construction Contract and can be accessed electronically. A designated clock in the City of Anaheim City Clerk's Office will be used as the official clock for establishing the official time for submission of all accepted Bid Bond submittals and the cutoff time for the rejection of late Bid Bond submittals. A bid bond, cashier's check, certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid is a requirement. Refer to Instructions to Bidders for information The CITY reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or waive any informalities, irregularities or technicalities if, in its judgment, the interest of the CITY may so require.
