Site Preparation Plan. South Ave. & Kuhlman Dr., Fill Area Redevelopment. Each Bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. All Contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. The Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond shall be in an amount equal to 100% of the bid, only a copy is required to be uploaded at time of bid opening on Bid Express, if low bidder, the original MUST be submitted prior to award of project OR a certified check payable to Lucas County for ten (10%) percent of the full amount of the Bid. The Contractor shall furnish materials, labor, tools, equipment, incidentals as required to construct two (2) aggregate Access Drives, including two (2) 12" dia. Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) culverts within each access drive (total of 4), clear all existing vegetation over the entirety of the west parcel and within limits of disturbance depicted on the east parcel, Temporary Stabilization and Traffic Control. The Board of Lucas County Commissioners may reject any and all of the bids on any basis and without disclosure of a reason. The failure to make such a disclosure shall not result in accrual or any right, claim, or cause of action by any unsuccessful bidder against the Board of Lucas County Commissioners. On any construction, repair or renovation project that has an estimated cost of over $15,000.00, the Lucas County Board of Commissioners may determine the lowest and best bidder by considering the factors included on the Best Bid Criteria Form.
