The City of Oroville Housing Development Department is seeking a qualified contractor to participate in the renovation and remodel a portion of a housing rehabilitation project for a residential home located at 1865 Gray St in Oroville CA. NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN City of Oroville Housing Development Department is soliciting a Formal Bid Write-Up for General Contractor for a Best Value, Fixed Price. This write-up is part of a single-phase competitive process for the selection to complete construction of the Project. The project under this Formal Bid-Write-Up is the renovation on an existing 670 sf single-story home. All work associated with the installation of approx. 670 sf of LVT flooring or similar material (including 1/4 " sheeting to level floor and vapor barrier). All work associated with the removal and replacement of existing exterior doors with new solid core doors and updated hardware. All work associated with the installation of mini-split ductless system OR replacement of existing swamp cooler system with efficient system - need determined at bid walk. All work associated with the installation of insulation in the attic space. All work associated with the installation of either French doors or sliding glass door in room. All work associated with the replacement of the existing kitchen cabinetry (including countertops and sink). All other work as requested in the project description in the Bid-Write Up documents. Qualifying contractors to verify all work at the Mandatory Job Walk. Do not contact home owner prior to submitting the formal Bid Write-Up to the Housing Development team. Contractor requirements: Current and active CA Contractors license in good standing and $1,000,000 general liability insurance naming the City of Oroville as additionally insured. Registered by time of notice of award with SAM.GOV. The City of Oroville reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any non-material defects in any submitted bids. Qualifying contractors must attend mandatory job walk to submit a bid for the job
