The City is seeking bids to paint the parking structure's interior walls and exterior walls which includes pipes, conduit stair wells, handrails, bollards, water lines and other related appurtenances. Cameras, fire sprinklers, lights, exit lights, elevator doors, signs, etc. shall be protect in place. The approximate square footage (interior and exterior surface area) of the parking structure is 167,000 square feet. All the interior surfaces of the parking structure shall be painted white (final color to be determined) and the exterior surface shall be paint to match existing color In addition, the City proposes to paint the exterior wall on the 2nd Street and New Street side with geometric shapes in the City colors sample shapes are provide as Exhibit C. This work will be an additive alternate item. The City, if it deems necessary, may add or delete items or other associated items from the work to be completed. It will be the contractors responsibility to document any changes in the field and inform the City so that appropriate actions can be taken. Contractor will only be compensated for items to which work is conducted. It is located near the City's downtown area and as such is heavily used on weekends, especially Fridays and Saturdays. The structure has four levels single helix and has 403 parking stalls. The structure was constructed about 20 years ago.
