Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Mesa, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.

Bids Must Be Addressed to: Joe Petrucci 1130 Alma School Rd, Suite 120 Mesa, Arizona 85201 the Envelope Must Be Boldly Marked: Bid for Bid-build of Warner Avenue Phase 1 Water, Paving and Concrete The Project is Generally Located on Warner Avenue, Between Reverence Rd. And Ironwood Dr., in the City of Apache Junction. This Contract Shall Be for Furnishing All Labor, Materials, Transportation, and Services for the Construction and/or Installation of Improvements Only Shown on the Plans, Including, but Not Limited to the Following: - Phase 1 Warner Avenue Paving Plans - Work Associated With Collector Roadway Improvements Including but Not Limited to Asphalt Concrete Pavement, Base Course, Survey Markers, Concrete Curb, Concrete Sidewalk, Storm Drainage Pipe and Storm Drainage Structures. - Phase 1 Warner Avenue Water Plans Work Associated With Collector Roadway Improvements Including but Not Limited to 8 Diameter Dip Water Piping. - Phase 1 Warner Avenue Signage and Pavement Marking Plans Work Associated With Collector Roadway Improvements Including but Not Limited to Roadway Signage and Roadway Pavement Marking. Phase 1 Warner Avenue Street Light Plans Work Associated With Collector Roadway Improvements Including but Not Limited to Streetlights. Contractors Desiring to Submit Proposals Must Submit in Writing, Including Email, the Request for the Link to the Bid Documents, Plans and Specifications to Joe Petrucci at Joe.petrucci@epsgroupinc.com. Technical Questions Received Prior to the Pre-bid Conference and During the Pre-bid Conference Will Be Answered at Said Conference. An Addendum of Addenda Will Be Issued on the Technical Questions Received in Writing, and/or Raised During the Pre-bid Conference, if the Owner or Engineer of Record Are of the Opinion That a Formal Addendum is Required to Fully Answer the Question or Questions Raised. If an Addendum is Deemed Necessary, a Link to Download the Documents Will Be Provided to the Contractors on the Bidders List No Later Than the End of Business Friday, January 26th, 2024. Bids Must Be Submitted on the Proposal Form Provided and Be Accompanied by the Bid Bond for Not Less Than Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Bid, Payable to DR. Horton, Inc., or a Certified or Cashiers Check. Personal or Individual Surety Bonds Are Not Acceptable. All Bidders That Are Not Currently an Approved Vendor for D. R. Horton, Inc Will Be Required to Submit an Executed Contract for Construction and Insurance Certificate With Their Proposal. The D.R. Horton Contract for Construction Included in the Bid Documents is Non-negotiable. Failure by Bidder to Properly Execute the Contract and Provide the Required Certification as Specified Shall Be Considered a Breach of Contract by Bidder. D.R. Horton, Inc. Shall Be Free to Terminate the Contract or, at Option, Release the Successful Bidder. Payment and Performance Bonds Will Be Required for This Work. The Successful Bidder Shall Be Required to Furnish a Payment Bond in the Amount Equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Price, and a Performance Bond in an Amount Equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Price. Successful Bidder Shall Name D. R. Horton, Inc as Obligee on Both the Payment and Performance Bonds and Name the City of Apache Junction and Arizona State Land Department as Additional Obligees on the Performance Bond. The Right is Hereby Reserved to Accept or Reject Any or All Bids or Parts Thereto, to Waive Any Informalities in Any Proposal and Reject the Bids of Any Persons Who Have Been Delinquent or Unfaithful to Any Contract With D. R. Horton, Inc.; City of Apache Junction. The Work, Which is the Subject of This Bid, May Be the Subject of a Financing Participation Agreement Among the Owner and the City of Apache Junction. This Successful Contractor Will Not Have Recourse, Directly or Indirectly, to Such City for Any Cost Under Any Contract Liability, Claim or Expense Arising There From. Insurance: Bidder Shall Submit a Completed Certificate of Insurance Form Meeting the Requirements as Noted in the D.R. Horton, Inc. Insurance Requirements. Bidder Shall Also Indicate the Following Parties as Being Additional Insured and Forward a Copy of the Insurance Directly to Those Parties: 1. City of Apache Junction 2. Arizona State Land Department No questions will be answered verbally. No explanation answer to technical question, representations nor comments will be made by the Owner's personnel concerning this Project. Questions will be taken until Wednesday, January 24th, 2024 at 5:00P.M., Arizona Time.
