The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District (NAB), has a pending requirement for construction services (dredging) for the Codorus Creek Shoal Removal Project in York, PA. This is a pre-solicitation announcement for information purposes only and is not a solicitation. The York Flood Risk Management Project requires maintenance of the flood damage reduction channel along Codorus Creek. Regular channel maintenance is required every few years to meet the flow required by the authorized project. There are two (2) locations of channel maintenance for this specific project. The first location is just south of the Route 30/Arsenal Road bridge with two (2) shoals requiring removal. The second location is at the confluence of Codorus Creek and Pourhouse Run with three (3) shoals requiring removal. These shoals contain mostly pebbles, cobbles, vegetation, wood debris, and gravel with some sediment. Removal of the shoals requires in water work. In accordance with FAR 36.204 - Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
