2024 Roadway Improvements Project Question Deadline 01/26/2024 All questions about the meaning of the Contract Documents are to be directed to Engineer Interpretation or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered milling or pulverizing, and repaving approximately 1.8 miles of roadway in seven areas of Shiocton, and pulverizing and repaving approximately 1,200 square yards of driveway and parking lot at the Village of Shiocton Fire Station Bid Security/Withdrawal/Rejection: No bid will be received unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% but not more than 10% of the bid payable to the Village of Shiocton as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, Performance and Payment Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance within fifteen days after the award of the Contract. Bids: Proposals shall be prepared and submitted on the forms provided in the bid documents. If the successful Bidder files the Contract, Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance, the Owner shall return the check or bond upon execution of the Contract. If the Bidder fails to file the Contract, Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance, the amount of the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Village of Shiocton as liquidated damages. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the bids, without the consent of the Owner, for a period of ninety (60) days after the scheduled time for closing of the bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding.
