Bids must be submitted upon the standard forms contained within these contract documents furnished by Engineer, noted in the Information for Bidders. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check on a solvent bank or a Bidder's Bond issued by a Surety Company licensed to operate in the State of Mississippi, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price, payable to the owner as bid security. Bidders shall also submit a current financial statement, if requested by the Owner. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The required documents shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and the outside of the envelope shall be marked plainly as: Pickleball Court Construction and the Certificate of Responsibility Number. Bids shall be deposited with the City of Bay St. Louis, Bay St. Louis City Hall, 688 Hwy 90, Bay St. Louis, MS 39520 or for those interested, bids can be submitted at online under the project page, prior to the hour and date designated above. No oral, telegraphic, telephonic, or e-mail proposals shall be considered. An acknowledged received copy of all Addenda issued by the Engineer via Plan House must be included with the bid proposal. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date of actual bid opening without Owner's consent.
