Estimated Cost $528,000.00 In general, the work of this project involves drainage improvements and cement concrete sidewalk / granite curbing installation along Gove Lane (450 LF +/-) and portions of Meaders Lane (150 LF and 250 LF+/-). Work under this contract includes tree removal; drainage installation; raising to grade of new and existing structures; cement concrete sidewalk and granite curb installation; grass swale installation; landscape restoration and driveway repairs to meet new grades; and safety controls for traffic and pedestrian management. Scheduling of work will require coordination with the Salisbury DPW to address work by others within the project. Construction for this project is anticipated to begin on or about April 1,2024. The bidding for and award of the contract for this project are to be in accordance with the requirements of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30 39M. Bidders are on notice that this project is funded in part through a grant from the Massachusetts Community Development Block Program using U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Funds and Chapter 90 funding. This project is subject to the schedule of federal and state prevailing wage rates. MassDOT pre-qualification is required for this project. All bidders must be MassDOT pre-qualified in order to take out "Official" bid documents. Contractors seeking "Informational Only" bid documents are not required to be MassDOT pre-qualified.
