Removal and disposal of existing kennel slab and "cages". 2. Installation of new foundation/slab that will receive pre-fab kennel (separate contract, N.I.C.). 3. Install new electrical service and pole with 100 AMP service to feed kennel once installed. 4. Check all existing systems (water and sewer/septic tank) to insure they are in working order. If they are not in working order, Contractor shall perform work to get these items back to fully operational status. 5. Site grading as indicated in Construction Documents. 6. Add Alternate 1 includes the removal of indicated perimeter fencing (poles and fencing material) and gates that were damaged during Hurricane Ida. The contractor will then install new poles, fencing, and gates as indicated to match existing system at site. 7. The Contractor shall be responsible for safety measure to prevent harm due to construction to the users and staff of the facility If any person contemplating submitting a bid for the proposed Contract is in doubt as to the meaning of any part of the Drawings, Specifications (Project Manual), or other contract documents, he may submit to the Purchasing Agent, not later than seven (7) working days prior to the date set for opening bids, a written request for an interpretation or clarification.
