Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Monroe, New York. Completed plans call for the addition of a 4,420-square-foot municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
As of April 4, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Village intends to award the project on/or about February 20, 2024 and reserves all rights to award to the lowest qualified bidder. The Village of Monroe located in Monroe NY intends to renovate the existing building and construct a new addition at the above referenced location and is seeking sealed bids for General Construction. This is a public works project, and all coordination ofthe work will be the responsibility ofthe General Construction Contractor (G.C.C.) selected for the project. This is a two-phase, yet consecutive project and time is ofthe essence. Each sealed enclosure containing a bid is to be endorsed on the outside with the name, address and telephone number ofthe bidder and is to state that it contains a bid for the referenced project. The bidder shall enter a contract within 2 weeks after notification ofthe award of contract. The Village ofMonroe reserves the right to reject any and all bids, re-advertise for new bids, and waive any irregularities in bidding and to accept the bid that is best suited for the Monroe Village Hall. A copy ofthe form of contract is included with the bid documents. This is a Public Works project, and the successful bidders must pay all employees prevailing wages pursuant to the Labor Law. Sealed bids must be in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and other bid documents for the project, and must include a fully executed Bid Form with proof of insurances as specified.
