The funding source for this project is WATER UTILITY REVENUE (SRF). The Contractor shall furnish all labor, insurance, equipment, materials and power for the complete performance of the following project, Adams Center Road & Tillman Road Water Main Extension .Installation of 13,200' of 24" and 8,000' of 16" HDPE pipe by horizontal directional drilling along with hydrants, valves, and all other appurtenances. No Bid will be accepted from, or contract awarded to any person, firm, or corporation that is in arrears to the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, upon any debt or contract, or, who has failed to execute, in whole or in part in a satisfactory manner, any contract with the City; or, who is a defaulter as to surety or otherwise, upon any obligation to the City, or is engaged in litigation with the City. Doc Notes: Project bid documents must be downloaded from electronically which will add your company to the Plan holder List and allow access to vBid online bidding for the submittal of your bid (which is required for this project). Bidders will be charged a fee to submit a bid electronically. Bond Notes: No Bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after the scheduled time for receipt of Bids so as to allow review of Bids before announcing award of Contract. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount no less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. Owner's Rights: The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids for failure to comply with applicable laws and/or with the Instructions to Bidders. The Board also reserves the right to waive any defect in any bid. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
