QUESTIONS DEADLINE: JANUARY 19, 2024, AT 12:00 NOON
This federally assisted contract will obligate the contractor and subcontractors to comply with local, state, and federal regulations for employment and business practices. The Contractors and Subcontractors must comply with the applicable Davis-Bacon Act; HUD Maintenance Wage Rate; Federal Labor Standards provisions; and Section 3 Provisions of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. Minority and Women-Owned Businesses and Veterans are encouraged to respond. CHA reserves the rights to retain all proposal packages submitted and use any idea in a proposal package regardless of whether the package is selected and reserves the right to wave irregularities, to reject any/and all proposals, and to re-advertise this project in accordance with any state, local and federal regulations. The project is divided into two (2) lots. Each lot is considered separately for bid award. The
Scope of Work and this project manual applies to all of the addresses of all of the lots.
Each Apartment must be completed within 14 working days of the date work has commenced
on the apartment. The entire Lot must be completed including all punch work within 75
seventv-five calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed for the first apartment. 4. Supply and install new 0.5 HP garbage disposal at sink to include the supply and
installation of all necessary electrical and plumbing connections and wall mounted
switches and plates. Coordinate switch location with CHA.
5. Contractor to coordinate with owner to pick up appliances from CHA warehouse.
6. Contractor shall unpack, install and connect power and water supply (to include electrical
and/or gas connections) CHA provided appliances to include range, ventless hood and
refrigerator.
7. Supply and install necessary plumbing and associated connections for water line to new
