JOSEPH COUNTY -- The school board approves a roughly 16-million-dollar contract to construct the Penn Kingsman fieldhouse. Once built, the 55-thousand square foot facility will have four indoor courts, a six-lane 200-meter track, training rooms, two classrooms, and bleacher seating for 800. Construction is expected to start as soon as possible, and it should not affect the high school and wrap by the 2025-26 school year. ___________________________________________ A bid security in the form of AIA Document A310, a certified check, Indiana General Revised Form No. 86, "Contractors Combination Bid Bond and Bond for Construction," or a form from an acceptable surety shall accompany each bid. The bid security shall be in the penal amount of 10 percent of the total bid. Bid security shall be forfeited if bid is withdrawn after closing time on date for receiving bids.
