The City of Scottsdale Transportation and Streets Department invites sealed bids from qualified firms to enter into a contract(s) to provide ready mix concrete services on an "as needed" basis to include, but not limited to supplying material, equipment, and delivery to be used by City Staff for the maintenance and repair of sidewalks, multi-use paths, and other public use concrete areas. The Contract(s) shall be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder(s) whose bid conforms in all material respects to the requirements and criteria set forth in the Invitation for Bids. The City reserves the right to award by individual line item, by group of line items, or as a total, whichever is deemed most advantageous to the City. The Bidder is encouraged to read the solicitation documents very carefully, as the City shall not be responsible for errors and omissions on the part of the Bidder. The Bidder is also encouraged to carefully review their final submittal documents prior to uploading. The Bidder shall familiarize themselves with the nature and extent of the solicitation and contract documents, work to be performed, all local conditions, and federal, state and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations that may in any manner affect cost, progress or performance of the work. Any such unauthorized contact may result in bidder being disqualified from further consideration. The term of this Contract shall be for a one (1) year period from the effective date of the contract award. The City and Contractor may mutually agree to extend this Contract for four (4) additional one (1) year periods, upon the recommendation of the Contract Administrator, concurrence of the Purchasing Director and/or City Council, depending on the Contract.
