Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Centerville, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Roadway improvements that include continuous curb installation, alignment of the road, installation of concrete sidewalk and ramps, catch basin and pipe work, and concrete drive approaches. This project has the following primary components: o Road widening o Curb installation and removal o Concrete sidewalk installation o Concrete curb ramp installation o Catch basin removal, reconstruction, and installation o Driveway approach replacement Completion Date: October 1, 2025 o Construction shall take place between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm o Work shall not be permitted April 25th, 26th, and 27th , May 25th, 26th, and 27th , and July 3rd and 4th o All ODOT 3A catch basins are to use 7350Z1 frame and 7350M2 grate. o All driveway approach replacements will be concrete, asphalt replacement past the approach as needed for repairs on existing asphalt. o Sawcut one foot in from existing edge of pavement where road is being widened o See the attached Exhibit A for work limits and general locations. Curb is shown in Red, Sidewalk is shown in Blue. o Asphalt pad located at 165 W Ridgeway will be removed as needed to install curb. Will not be replaced. o Excavation, asphalt, and base quantities only account for the widening of the road. Additional quantities should be accounted for in the unit price of the respective bid item using the included work within its specification. o Remove brush/honeysuckle 15 feet back from existing brick sidewalk up to 192 W Ridgeway, roughly 2500 square feet. Utility Protection Note The contractor shall be responsible to have all utilities located, and work around the utilities and/or coordinate with utility company in relocation. The contractor shall take caution not to damage private facilities (irrigation systems, underground pet fences, etc.) and work around them, as necessary. SWPPP Note The contractor shall ensure best management practice are followed regarding storm water pollution prevention. Any sediment or asphalt that enters a catch basin or manhole shall be removed. Additional Notes 1. Saw cutting shall be full depth. 2. Excavated material may not be stored on the street during rain events unless adequate measures have been taken to prevent runoff of sediment. The contractor is to use Best Management Practices to prevent sediment from entering the storm sewer system. 3. Work items and quantities are projected and expected to change to fit needs of actual field conditions, budget, and other potential issues. Prices will not change due to change in quantities or cost escalation. Payment for work items not included as a specific pay item shall be considered incidental to other work items. This includes, but is not limited to, clearing and grubbing, re/mobilization, grading around curb ramps, removal of raised pavement markers, as well as removal and replacement of mailboxes, signs and supports. 4. Curb to be removed and replaced in sections with the minimum section being 5 feet. 5. Curb removal shall be 3"-12" in front of the curb to allow for the use of a full depth form board or slip forms. Restoration will be completed using LSM 100 to 2" below the surface and 2" of Item 441 to the surface. All flowable fill and asphalt shall be included in the unit pricing for Item 609. 6.
