Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Pinetop, Arizona. Completed plans call for the construction of a multi-residential development; for site work for a multi-residential development; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The Owner, White Mountain Apache Housing Authority (WMAHA), will receive sealed bids from licensed contractors for the construction of grading, drainage, house pad preparation, a section of water main replacement, and post tensioned concrete flat work that will support construction of 10 New Housing Units to be built on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation, in Hon Dah, Arizona. All units will be 3BR Units proposed for construction. WMAHA intends to solicit competitive-sealed bids from licensed contractors using the bid schedule, for Infrastructure & Site Work only, within the Project Manual. The bids shall be per scope of work detailed in the Plans and Specifications entitled "White Mountain Apache Housing Authority, Phase 1B Project: Infrastructure & Site Work and Post-Tensioned Concrete Flat Work." Prospective bidders shall have Post Tensioned Concrete designed by others in conformance with the Geotechnical Reports. 3-Bedroom Architectural Plans will be utilized. Specification issued Jan. 12, 2024. Bidders shall use the form of Bid Schedule that equal to the total bid for the infrastructure project undertaking. Post Tensioned Concrete Flat Work Shall be Lump Sum Bid. Deadline for submission of RFI's is January 31, 2024. All RFI's shall be submitted to Shelby Burnette, WMAHA Procurement Officer. (928) 338-4831 EXT 139 Fax: (928) 338-3991 sburnette@wmaha.us The Submittal of the following is required to be a responsive bidder: (1) Form of total Bid; (2) Bid Schedule; (3) Bid guarantee of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount which may be in the form of certified check, bank draft, or bid bond secured by a surety authorized to do business in Arizona and listed on the U.S. Treasury listing of approved sureties; (4) Indian Qualification Statement from bidders claiming Indian preference; (5) Representations, Certification and Other Statements (HUD5369); (6) Non-Collusive Affidavit: (7) Previous Participation Certification (HUD2530) or list of completed projects within the last four years; and (8) Statement of how the bidder plans to provide Indian preference in employment and training. This bid solicitation is open to all qualified bidders. The contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose bid does not exceed the maximum contract amount established by the Owner for the categorized work, subject to Indian preference. Indian preference will be provided by applying the X-Factor in which the contract shall be awarded pursuant to WMAHA Policy and Procedure.
