The Town of Innisfil completed an Innisfil Beach Park Master Plan Vision in 2020, and on May 10, 2023, Council approved park concepts phased over 20 years and to be completed in three phases. The Town is seeking to engage the services of a qualified Design-Build team, to work cooperatively with the Town to complete the Design and Construction for the first phase of Innisfil Beach Park Improvements, Beach and New Park Exit Works. On May 24, 2023, Innisfil Council approved the Final Concept for Innisfil Beach Park based on the Innisfil Beach Park Master Plan 2020 and extensive public engagement. The improvements for Beach and New Park Exit Works include a New Park Exit, a New Beach Washroom, beach area improvements with a New shade structure and New toddler playground, a New section of road, a New drop of area, New creek crossing structures and utility improvements. The Design Build Team will be responsible from the design development to the completion of the project. The Design Builder is to provide valuable design assist & constructability input that supports efficient construction and maximum value for the Town. The Design Build Team will provide a supportive project team to cooperate and collaborate throughout the Design, Construction, Commissioning and Warranty stages of the project to ensure the project's deliverables are successfully achieved within the budget and time specified. Completion of Design: March 2025. Substantial Performance: October 31, 2025 The Town's design budget of $10,311,750 for the Beach and New Park Exit Works of which includes the design and construction of all the park improvements listed above, contingencies, and the Town's 1.76% nonrefundable tax.
