A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Kalamazoo County is seeking bids from qualified agencies to submit proposals "Design, Installation and Configuration of a Security Camera System. Questions Due: January 30, 2024 All bidders, including subcontractors, with bids in excess of $50,000 must be prequalified through the Kalamazoo County responsible bidder program. Responsible Bidders Applications are only good for one year. Responsible Bidder forms can be found on the website. The forms will be filled out online by February 6, 2024. No bid may be withdrawn for at least 120 days after the bid opening. The scope of work required under this RFP includes the procurement of the security cameras and associated equipment (including software), design, installation, implementation, configuration, testing and training. The selected Vendor will be responsible for recommending type and number of security cameras, and any other applicable equipment, hardware and software associated with the security cameras. The selected Vendor must ensure it has adequate resources to provide these services and to meet the needs of the County. The security video camera management system recommended by the Vendor for this facility must have the following features: - Either be Speco or Avigilon brands - Active viewing monitors at the security station that allow security personnel to view and digitally zoom all cameras. - The ability to add additional viewing monitors as needed. - Centralized management system and standardized access. - Able to be viewed from a computer via a client portal, and onsite viewing monitors. - Show historical video while recording, hold historical data for a minimum of 30 days and download video. - Record on motion, adjust to daylight and nighttime vision. - Monitor the entire identified area at the facility. - Allow future growth of the system to accommodate additional cameras andlocations. - High-Definition cameras of 4mp or greater resolution. - All network cabling must be Cat6 and installed in cable trays and/or EMT conduit painted to match existing conduit. The County will consider any additional features suggested by the Vendors. The cameras shall cover the identified areas in the following drawings. The red arrows indicate new cameras, the red stars indicate the existing camera views.
