“As of February 27, The owner has determined a prequalified list of general contractors. A timeline for award has not yet been established.” The successful bidder, as the Design Build Contractor, shall furnish the bridge design, construction documents and construction permits. The successful bidder shall include the costs for manpower, materials, testing and equipment necessary to complete the installation of the Pedestrian Bridge. The awarded bidder is responsible for site grading, site leveling and site surface preparation to the standards required for the construction of the Pedestrian Bridge. The Contractor shall obtain all necessary construction permits. The County shall waive all construction permit fees. The Rockdale County Board of Commissioners is soliciting sealed proposals from firms or organizations to establish a contract for Purchase and Installation of a Pedestrian Bridge at Costley Mill in Rockdale County.
