**As of March 29, 2024 project was awarded to MHB Paving, Inc. in the amount of $6,691,371.80.** Intent Of This Invitation Is To Obtain Competitive Sealed Bids From Qualified Vendors For Cement Stabilized Reclaimed Base, Asphalt Milling, And Hot-mix Asphalt Placement On 35 County Roads (Approximately 14 Miles). This Includes But Is Not Limited To Traffic Control (Including Temporary Striping), Cement Stabilized Base Reclamation (8 Thick With The Addition Of Portland Cement), Milling (2 Inches), Resurfacing, The Placement And Sanding Of Asphalt Prime, Building Shoulders (Including Grassing) And Striping Placement Of Pavement Marking. All Bids Shall Be Accompanied By A Bid Bond In An Amount Of Not Less Than Five Percent (5%) Of The Bid For The Complete Work. The Bid Bond Shall Be Forfeited To Henry County, Georgia As Liquidated Damages If The Bidder Fails To Execute The Contract And Provide Performance And Payment Bonds Within Fifteen (15) Calendar Days After Being Notified That He Has Been Awarded The Contract. The Bid Bond Shall Be In The Form Of A Surety Issued Bond Made Payable To The Henry County Board Of Commissioners. The Surety Company Shall Be Licensed To Do Business In The State Of Georgia And Listed In The Department Of The Treasury Circular 570, Latest Edition. The Work On This Project Shall Be Completed Within One Hundred Eighty (180) Calendar Days After Receipt Of The Written Notice To Proceed. Henry County Reserves The Right To Reject Any And All Proposals And To Waive Any Technicalities.
