Reconstruction of SE 2nd Street from, S. College Avenue to SE 2nd Avenue, portions of SE 2nd Avenue from south of Main Street and North of the Fire Station Parking Lot, the existing Alley and building access corridor along with the municipal parking lot to be reconfigured and reconstructed in Aledo, IL. Sidewalk and building entrances will be reconstructed to provide an ADA entrance to adjacent doorways. Work includes removal of existing; pavement, curbs, storm sewer pipes and structures. Construction includes earth excavation, contractor supplied soil placement, PCC sidewalks, PCC pavement with integral curbs. Streetscape features include lighting, plantings, and decorative aesthetic features. This work also includes grading, sodding, erosion control, final clean up and pedestrian and vehicle traffic control.
