MnDOT requests letters of interest (LOI) for contract administration, construction inspection and materials testing on State Project (SP) 2724-130 (Trunk Highway [TH] 55). This project consists of grading, concrete surfacing, bituminous surfacing, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements, signals, signing, lighting, and coordination with the bus rapid transit. The project is on Highway 55’s ramps at Lake Street and on Lake Street (County State Aid Highway [CSAH] 3) from 22nd Avenue to Snelling Avenue in the city of Minneapolis. The project has a contract start date of April 8, 2024, and all work must be completed by October 26, 2024. The project must meet “Project Acceptance” before June 14, 2025. MnDOT will provide a Project Engineer, and this Contract will provide for the field inspection on this construction project. The goal of this project is to provide construction inspection and materials testing which will assure that the project is completed in reasonable conformity with plans, specifications, and contract provisions. All administrative and test reports will be completed in accordance with the MnDOT Contract Administration Manual and Specifications.
