Replace Exterior Duct Insulation 1. Please refer any questions pertaining to this solicitation to Jim Roloff, contracting officer, at james.g.roloff@usda.gov. The appropriate Department of Labor wage determination for construction shall apply to any resultant contract (see attachment 1). 3. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. 4. USDA is exempt from sales tax: tax ID no. 41-0696271; tax exempt no. 471640000. Remove and replace all building 1398 ERU-1 exterior ductwork insulation. The contractor will supply all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for this installation. Scope: - Strip / Remove all existing exterior insulation on ERU-1, to include supply, return and mix. - Contractor will be responsible for insulation / trash removal from site. - Install new insulation on all exterior ductwork for ERU-1. - Insulation will be 2" thick, "jacketed," joints sealed, and installed with peaks to shed water. - Contractor will submit specification sheets for materials to be used to the COR for approval before installation. - Contractor will provide all warranty documents to Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) Contractor shall coordinate all work with the COR: brian.lavin@usda.gov, 508-237-9173.
