Carpet Install and Replacement at Dundalk FMS and Ruhl Readiness Center. Small Business Reserve Designation Yes. One Time Contract of 120 days. Question Deadline 02/06/2024 at 12:00 PM ET. General Information: The MMD is issuing this Solicitation to provide all labor, materials, and supplies necessary to replace flooring in various locations at Dundalk FMS, 1218 North Point Road, Dundalk, MD 21222 and Ruhl Readiness Center, 1035 York Rd, Towson, MD 21204 for the Maryland Military Department as per the specifications stated below. The MMD intends to make up to two (2) awards as a result of this Solicitation The MMD strongly recommends each Contractor attend the informational conference and the site visit if offered. Each Contractor shall verify the exact size of each floor to provide materials and services needed. All dimensions and information given in this solicitation are approximate and provided to assist the bidder. Each Contractor shall be permitted to examine the site, familiarize themselves with the full nature and extent of the work, ask questions, obtain answers to the SOW, and obtain clarifications of the Contract, including verifying all existing dimensions prior to bidding and ordering materials. It is the Contractor's sole responsibility to familiarize themselves thoroughly with the location of the work and the surrounding area as well as the contents of the SOW. Failure to do so does not relieve the successful Bidder from its obligations to comply with all aspects of this solicitation package for the amount they specify as their Bid Price. The Contractor must provide the State with notice of cancellation and the new policy within fifteen (15) days of cancellation. The Department reserves the right to purchase replacement materials in the open market. Contractors failing to promptly replace materials lawfully rejected shall be liable for any excess price paid for the replacement, plus applicable expenses, if any. The State shall have the absolute right to terminate the Contract if any insurance policy is canceled at any time for any reason, and a new policy is not obtained by the Contractor and approved by the Procurement Officer. The Contractor will have access to the project area during regular working hours, Tuesday- Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Contractor shall coordinate access with the MMD Contract Manager, Horace Bennett, 410-336-3788, Horace.Bennett@maryland.gov. Work shall consist of all labor, materials, supplies and supervision necessary to install new flooring over the existing flooring as described below. See Attachment F Dundalk FMS floor plan. Room 101 General Supervisor & Insp Library approximately 310 square foot Room 103 Tech Training Room approximately 180 square foot Room 108 Breakroom approximately 625 square foot Room 112 Supervisors Office approximately 120 square foot Room 116 Supply/Tool Office approximately 235 square foot
