The Town of Bristol is requesting sealed bids in accordance with all terms and specifications contained herein for an Elevator and Installation of same at a Town-owned building that is currently undergoing renovations. The property located at 260 High Street is the former Walley School that is being converted to a Senior and Community Center. This former school building is being renovated and converted to a senior center and community center. This building is a major contributor to a National Historic District and careful attention should be given to protecting and preserving all elements of this building according to the documents. Periodic reviews by the RI State Historic Preservation and Heritage Commission and Local Historic District Commission will be performed
