Renovation of a retail development in Salisbury, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a retail development.
1. Remove all debris from roof. 2. Remove all gutters and downspouts. Dispose of them off site. 3. Install new wood nailer to accommodate the height of the new insulation at all eave and rake locations. 4. The existing metal wall panels would need to be modified to accommodate new flashing. 5. The contractor would need to fill in the flutes in the existing metal with new insulation to support the cover board. 6. Install a layer of 1.5-inch polyisocyanurate insulation, GAF Ever-guard ISO or equivalent, over the flute fill. 7. Mechanically attach 60 mil TPO membrane, GAF Ever-guard TPO or equivalent, over the polyisocyanurate insulation. 8. Install new wall flashing 60 mil fully adhered TPO membrane. 9. The contractor must re-secure the metal wall panels removed to install the new flashing. 10. Installation of new 18 gauge or .040" aluminum metal to all roof edges. 11. Installation of new 20 gauge or .032" aluminum gutters and downspouts. 12. The contractor will replace the 7 existing fiberglass skylight panels with 3' x 8' 1.0mm translucent polycarbonate panels. 13. It is the contractor's responsibility to clean up and remove all job-related debris. 14. All material, fasteners and labor to be supplied by the contractor. 15. Mobilize onsite. 16. Set up safety requirements, per OSHA standards. 17. Remove any job-related trash and safely demobilize from site. 18. Contractors shall be responsible for any required permits. 19. Provide Wicomico County with a minimum of Two (2) year workmanship warranty, list additional warranty information. 20. Contractors shall provide a list of itemized costs for any additional work potentially needed. 21. Include product delivery and installation timeframes for work completion. Wicomico County is seeking bids from Qualified Vendors to renovate the roof on the Wicomico County Park Shop, in conformity with the requirements contained herein Bid Documents. The last day for questions will be noon on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. Minority vendors are encouraged to compete for award of the solicitation.
