The work within this project is to design, fabricate, transport and install a 24' x 14' kennel of 4 interior and exterior areas with a lobby for Colorado State Patrol K-9s. The State of Colorado Department of Public Safety (CDPS), Colorado State Patrol (CSP) is requesting bid submission from manufacturers for the fabrication of a 24'x14' 4-run kennel with a lobby area. In addition to shipping and installation, bid will include the following design options: metal roof, horizontal siding, R21 insulation, interior door (with functional window) separating kennels from lobby, Polyurea flooring throughout, 4 door upgrade of 17"x24", solid partition separation of kennels, 8 welded wire gates, tankless water heater, split unit heat/AC, 2 ceiling fans, electrical package, and plumbing for specified grooming tub. The Manufacturer must verify all measurements to ensure detailed materials are included with the bid. Design requirements for the City of Golden, CO must be met or exceeded with a snow load of 30 per square foot (psf) and wind 150 miles per hour (mph). Quotes must include all items as detailed in Project Information above. Minimum of one year warranty on all workmanship and materials within this project. CDPS has a budget not to exceed $75,000.00 Estimated materials; (MUST BE VERIFIED BY CONTRACTOR & SUB-CONTRACTORS). Companies must have at least five (5) years of experience of all materials within this project. Subcontractor experience must match this experience level. Local team in-place with necessary equipment / resources for an accelerated schedule and timeline. Emphasis on attention to details and quality of workmanship. Completion of the project must occur within 90 days from the Notice to Proceed. Owner ensures site preparedness as specified by building requirements prior to transportation of structure.
