Section 24 Impoundment Expansion. Project Estimated Budget $6,000,000.00 The Clerks Office time stamp shall be conclusive as to the timeliness of receipt. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids (in whole or in part) with or without cause, to waive technicalities, irregularities or informalities, or to accept bids which in its judgment best serve the Owner. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond/Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid and must accompany each Bid in accord with the Instructions to Bidders. DESCRITPION OF WORK C. The major project components generally consist of, at a minimum, clearing and grubbing, earthwork (excavation, embankment, demucking, dewatering, grading, etc.), 48" corrugated aluminum pipe, control structures, paved pedestrian trails, shellrock equestrian trails, picnic pavilion(s), stabilized parking areas, wetland and upland plantings, sodding, seeding and mulching. D. The Contractor shall furnish and assume full responsibility for all labor, materials, superintendence, construction equipment and machinery, transportation, tools, appliances, fuel, power, light, telephone, water, sanitary facilities, permitting and compliance, inspections and testing, temporary facilities and dewatering systems, and all other facilities, taxes, bonds and insurance, permitting fees, traffic control, security, miscellaneous costs, warranties, general conditions, overhead and profit and other incidentals, services and facilities of every nature whatsoever necessary to construct, complete, deliver and place in operation the subject Project as shown on the Construction Drawings and/or as herein described in the project Specifications. The Contractor will be required to completely restore all disturbed areas as a result of the construction work. E. The Contractor shall perform the work complete, in place, perform tests where applicable, and provide ready for continuous services, and shall include repairs, replacements, and restoration required as a result of damages caused during this construction. F. The Contractor shall furnish and install all materials, equipment, and labor, which is reasonably and properly inferable and necessary, of a sufficient capacity, to facilitate the proper completion of the Work and to handle all emergencies normally encountered in Work of this character, whether specifically indicated in the Contract Documents or not. G. The Contractor shall be responsible for compliance with applicable local requirements and ordinances (noise, construction hours, dust control, etc.). H. The Contractor shall maintain the Work area and site in a clean and acceptable manner. I. The Contractor shall maintain existing facilities in service at all times except where specifically provided for otherwise herein for completion of the Work. J.
