Public Works and Government Services Canada has retained a Construction Manager (Pomerleau) to modernize laboratory facilities as part of its Laboratories Canada (LC) program of work. The CM's Contract is the Atlantic Science Enterprise Centre (ASEC) (also known as the Gulf Fisheries Centre (GFC)) a PWGSC owned asset in Moncton, NB, that will be redeveloped and expanded to provide science accommodations and non-science space for use by five Science Partners. The asset is a federally designated recognized heritage building and will remain under operation during the phased construction approach. Phase 1 Enabling Works, Phase 2 New Science Annex, Phase 3 Renovation of GFC Building. The scope for this work will include the set up and take down of the crane, the crane rental period, and all associated design engineering pertaining to the crane. General crane specifications are included in the Appendix of this document. These can be referenced to provide a general understanding of crane requirements. The objective of this RFQ is to receive and access submissions from interested trade partners for the purpose of pre-quallifying potential TOWER CRANE tenders.
