Questions must be emailed by 5:00pm, 3 Business Days before Bid opening PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Seismic retrofit project that includes superstructure retrofits through section bolstering and use of CFRP reinforcement, separating the ramp and the staircase from the main span and building up a new lightweight fill/wall support system for the ramp and wall/footing support system for the staircase, adding new expansion joints at the ramps, removing and reinstalling handrails and modifying the ends of handrails at new expansion joints. PROJECT LOCATION: Aurora Ave North Pedestrian Bridge is located at the intersection of Aurora Ave North and North 102nd Street. A/E ESTIMATE: $1,900,000 to $2,100,000. PRE-BID SITE INSPECTION/MEETING: There is no pre-bid site inspection meeting scheduled for this project. INCLUSION PLAN: For purposes of the Inclusion Plan, this is considered a Pedestrian Structural type of project with a Past Performance of 4 Percent WMBE utilization rates based on completed projects.
