Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Montgomery, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Work of the project includes, but is not limited to: demolition of existing utilities, parking lots, sidewalks, and curb and gutter. New construction including, but no limited to: site clearing, grading, erosion control, construction fencing, building pad, curb and gutter, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main, fire main, underground electrical, retaining walls, concrete pad for mechanical equipment, etc. and coordination and supervision of the entire project, and all related work; as indicated on the Bid and Construction Documents, in preparation for a Workforce Development Center on the Enterprise Community College Campus. Bid Documents, Drawings and Specifications will be available beginning January 15, 2024 and may be examined during normal business hours at the Office of the Architect. This project is being bid EXCLUDING TAXES, and requires the Contractor comply with the requirements of Act 2013-205, which was signed into law on May 9, 2013. The Contractor and the Owner will be required to apply for Certificates of Exemption with the Alabama Department of Revenue which will handle administration of the Certificates. The Contractor shall account for the tax savings on the Proposal Form. Additional qualifications and requirements for General Contractor Bidders and separate Subcontractors are indicated in the Bid and Contract Documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in their judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
