General Description The Prince William County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Expansion Project consists of the demolition and new construction for the expansion of the existing Emergency Operations Center (EOC). Work includes new glass walls, finishes, ceiling system replacements including new light fixtures, mechanical and electrical upgrades, HVAC upgrades throughout the ground floor areas including HVAC rooftop units, and roofing system replacement. Lower-Level upgrades include the installation of a new full height partition sub-diving the existing Data Center creating a new storage area, and existing Computer Room air conditioning (CRAC) units are being replaced. The FM-200 Fire Protection System will be downsized due to the downsizing of the Data Center, and electrical upgrades are included to support CRAC unit replacement. Registered Plan Holders may make copies for the purpose of directly bidding the project but are not permitted to re-sell, copy, or re-distribute printed plans and specifications except for the direct purpose of bidding the project. Bids will not be accepted from any firm who is not registered as a Plan Holder. D. Bidders shall use complete sets of Bidding Documents in preparing Bids. Neither the Owner nor the A/E shall assume any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents. E. The Owner, in making copies of the Bidding Documents available on the above terms, does so only for the purpose of obtaining Bids on the Work and does not confer a license or grant for any other use. F. Addenda to the project, if any, will be posted on the County's e-procurement website. All Addenda, if any, shall be acknowledged in the designated location on the Bid Form The Bidder understand and agrees that Work shall be completed as indicated and detailed in the specifications or on the drawing/plans, or both, the specifications, and drawing/plans, and will achieve Substantial Completion within Five Hundred Seventy (570) calendar days from Notice to Proceed and Final Completion including punch list work within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days from the Substantial Completion date.
