Renovation of a conference / convention center in Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.

Film material must meet the following minimum specifications: o Film to be applied to outside surface of existing exterior glass and to have an expected lifespan of 15+ years. Warranty to be for a minimum of 5 to 10 years and include material, labor, and any other cost necessary to replace any defective film. o Glazing to receive film include all exterior fixed panes of glass, glass doors, and overhead glass doors. o Bird deterrent pattern on the film to be a dot or line pattern at 2" x 2" or smaller spacing. Exact pattern to be selected by the MPEA under advisement. o The film must be compatible with standard window washing cleaning solutions and techniques and not require any special maintenance. Installation requirements include: o Contractor to be responsible for all cleaning and prep of glass surfaces to receive film. o Contractor to be responsible for the procurement and cost of all lifts necessary for access to install the film. o MPEA will replace any broken glass panes prior to the start of the project. o Installation to be coordinated with the MPEA and the McCormick Place schedule to minimize disruption to events in the Lakeside Center. Work to be staffed and scheduled to be completed quickly and efficiently to minimize the overall duration of the installation. It is the intent that all services will be performed during regular business hours, unless otherwise requested by MPEA. The regular business hours of MPEA are Monday through Friday 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM. The Authority is seeking bids from qualified and experienced companies for Window Film Purchase and Installation in the McCormick Place Lakeside Center.
