Gary Morava Recreation Center Gym Floor Refinishing Project Prospect Heights Park District Invitation to Bid The Prospect Heights Park District is seeking sealed bids for the Gary Morava Recreation Center Gym Floor Refinishing Project. The scope of work includes sanding approximately 5,750 square feet of gym floor to bare wood, applying two (2) coats of sealer, painting all lines for (1) full length basketball court, one (2) volleyball courts and two (2) pickle ball courts, four (4) basketball keys at four (4) additional basketball hoops and one (1) official Prospect Heights Park District center gym floor logo, applying two (2) coats of oil-based gym floor finish, removing and properly disposing of all work debris. The work is to be completed between April 1- 31, 2024. There is an alternate additional scope of work to remove gymnasium flooring to expose sub floor/foundation, level sub floor/ foundation to meet the grade of gymnasium floor in areas where slope is present and repair existing flooring with seamless transition. The project location is 110 W Camp McDonald Road, Prospect Heights, IL 60070. The contract will be awarded at the February 20, 2024 Park District Board meeting. The District reserves the right to waive all technicalities, to accept or reject any or all Bids, to accept only portions of a Bid and reject the remainder.
